Hi all,
Welcome to November. The countdown to Christmas has begun. We have been getting lots of deliveries in the last few weeks so come in and see all our New Stock. Lots of Christmas products, new Fabrics Ranges and also some beautiful hand made products by Janelle. Many that would make very gorgeous gifts.
Christmas Opening Night – 14th December 2023
Once again, we will host our Christmas Opening Night at the Shop in December. This is an opportunity to catch up with all our wonderful customers and say thank you for your support through the year. We will have drinks/nibbles and special VIP Shopping Night with some prizes up for grabs. Mark in it your Calendar and we hope to see you there.
Sewing Retreat 8th – 12th January 2024
Details are out for our Sewing Retreat at THE HAVEN Emu Park in January. Spots are filling up fast so get in contact if you would like to book in. There are workshops each day that you can participate in or you can bring your owns projects to work on.
CRAFT ALIVE Mackay 8 – 10th March 2024
Craft Alive is coming to Mackay and we are BOOKED IN. We are excited and can’t wait to see you all. Let us know if there any Fabrics or Hobby items you want us to bring.

Hi all, Welcome to June. Can’t believe it’s nearly half way through the year and another Sewing Retreat is just around the corner. We still have a few vacancies so please email us your booking form asap if you plan on attending. We will be putting our catering numbers in very soon. We have also been working on a few things behind the scenes which is very exciting. I can share one, and that is our website is getting a makeover and you will be able to shop our fabrics online. Yay! So exciting and hopefully it will be up and going next month. Keep an eye on our Facebook page for further info!
Hi all, Welcome to our March Newsletter. The year is already flying fast. Keep an eye out for all the July Retreat info coming out this month.
Hi all, We are on the countdown to Christmas and already the shop is getting busy. We have plenty of new fabrics coming in each week so keep an eye out on our Facebook for pics. Also lots of handmake stock available for those unique Christmas presents. If you need any quilting done before Christmas please get them into us ASAP so we can have them done in plenty of time for you.
Hi all, Welcome to spring. Another busy month for us. We had the Emu Park CWA Quilt Show which was a huge success. Thanks to every for coming and supporting the local ladies. Janelle has just come back from a week sewing at Blackall. She had between 8 and 15 ladies throughout the week sewing and doing various projects. Some beautiful creations made. Hope you are all well. Janelle has been very busy in the shop over the last few weeks and we are starting to get our July Retreat planned. We have been getting plenty of new stock in and some beautiful fabrics. Lots of phone orders from people across Queensland and also some interstate orders. We are very thankful for all their support. Loretta is still off on leave until May so Janelle is mainly at the shop till then. With Easter only a few weeks away we hope you all have a Happy Easter and safe travels if you are going away. Our shop hours over the Easter period are below.
